Kyle Kilbourn is one of two Democrats challenging U.S. Rep. Tom Tiffany, a Republican, for the 7th Congressional District seat representing much of north-central and northwestern Wisconsin.
Elsa Duranceau, a Democrat and Air Force veteran from north-central Wisconsin, is challenging incumbent Rep. Tom Tiffany for the 7th Congressional District seat.

Sen. Andre Jacque, R-De Pere, is one of three Republicans running for Congress in the 8th Congressional District.
Kristin Lyerly is the lone Democratic candidate entering the race for the open seat created after the surprise retirement of Republican U.S. Rep. Mike Gallagher.
Former state Sen. Roger Roth is one of three candidates vying to represent the Green Bay and Appleton area 8th Congressional District.
State Rep. Katrina Shankland, D-Stevens Point, is seeking to represent the western Wisconsin 3rd Congressional District.

Wisconsin's 2024 congressional races feature a crowded field of candidates.
The 2024 election cycle is well underway and candidates have officially announced their plans to represent Wisconsin in Washington, D.C.
All eight of Wisconsin’s U.S. House seats will be on the ballot, as will one of its U.S. Senate seats. Each congressional district will have at least one Democrat and Republican running, giving voters across the state a choice for who will represent them in Congress.
There will be two Democratic primaries on the August ballot in the 3rd and 7th Congressional Districts, as well as a Republican primary in the U.S. Senate race and in the 2nd, 4th and 8th Congressional Districts.
Here's who will be on the ballot near you.
Democrat
U.S. Sen. Tammy Baldwin, D-Madison, is on the ballot in the 2024 election.
Tammy Baldwin: Baldwin has been Wisconsin’s junior U.S. senator since 2013. Prior to serving in the U.S. Senate, she served in the U.S. House of Representatives and the state Assembly. She was the first openly LGBTQ+ woman elected to both the House and the Senate.
Republican
Douglas Alexander: A Madison former business executive and political organizer, Alexander also ran for U.S. Congress in 2022 on a platform of imposing term limits.
Charles E. Barman: Barman is a Sharon farmer and Santa Claus actor who previously ran in Wisconsin’s 1st Congressional District in 2022.

Eric Hovde: Hovde is the CEO of the bank holding company H Bancorp, which includes Utah-based Sunwest Bank. He also runs Hovde Properties, which owns and manages a series of residential and commercial properties across Madison. He also ran for the U.S. Senate in 2012 and lost in the GOP primary.
Rejani Raveendran: Chair of the UW-Stevens Point College Republicans, Raveendran also previously worked as a nurse and midwife before returning to college at age 41.
Disrupt The Corruption
Phil Anderson: A former leader of the Wisconsin Libertarian Party, Anderson has also previously run for the state Assembly, governor and U.S. Senate. His party, he says, targets corruption and government overreach.
America First
Thomas Leager: He is the former executive director of Wisconsin Gun Owners, a pro-gun group that has advocated for public carrying of weapons, either concealed or open, without a permit, among other issues.
The 1st Congressional District covers the Kenosha and Racine area in southeast Wisconsin, as well as Janesville and Elkhorn in south-central Wisconsin.
Republican
U.S. Rep. Bryan Steil, R-Janesville, is seeking a third term in the U.S. House, representing the 1st Congressional District.
Bryan Steil: He has served in the U.S. House since 2018. A Janesville native, he worked as a manufacturing executive and served on the Universities of Wisconsin Board of Regents before being elected to Congress.
Democrat
Former state Rep. Peter Barca is challenging U.S. Rep. Bryan Steil in the race for the 1st Congressional District.
Peter Barca: Barca represented the 1st Congressional District between 1993 and 1995 and served for a decade in the state Assembly, including a stint as minority leader. He also served as Gov. Tony Evers’ revenue secretary before resigning to run for Congress.
Green Party
Chester Todd: A retired Racine counselor, Todd announced he was running for Congress in March to provide another option to the two major political parties.
The 2nd Congressional District includes all of Dane County and neighboring counties, such as Green, Iowa, Lafayette and Sauk counties.
Democrat
Rep. Mark Pocan, D-town of Vermont, is seeking another term representing the Madison area in Congress.
Mark Pocan: He has represented the 2nd Congressional District since 2013 after previously serving in the state Assembly and owning a small business. He previously served as chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus and currently leads the Congressional LGBT Equality Caucus.
Republican
Charity Barry: Barry worked for U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Oshkosh, as a grassroots director and has been active in the Dane County Republican Party. Barry also ran for the seat in 2022.
Erik Olsen: He has served as a private practice attorney for 17 years, focusing on property rights cases. Olsen also ran for the seat in 2022.
The 3rd Congressional District includes the Driftless region of southwest Wisconsin, as well as the La Crosse and Eau Claire areas.
Republican
U.S. Rep. Derrick Van Orden, R-Prairie du Chien, is seeking a second term in the U.S. House.
Derrick Van Orden: He was first elected to represent the 3rd Congressional District in 2022. A Prairie du Chien resident, Van Orden is a retired Navy SEAL and was a consultant in the private sector.
Democrat
Rebecca Cooke is one of three Democrats seeking to challenge Republican incumbent Rep. Derrick Van Orden in Wisconsin's 3rd Congressional District.
Rebecca Cooke: Cooke is an Eau Claire native who runs a small business and nonprofit and previously ran for the seat in 2022. She was appointed by Gov. Tony Evers to serve on the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation.
State Rep. Katrina Shankland, D-Stevens Point, is seeking to represent the western Wisconsin 3rd Congressional District.
Katrina Shankland: Shankland has represented Stevens Point in the state Assembly since 2013, including a stint as assistant minority leader. Prior to being elected, she worked for the Midwest Renewable Energy Association.
Eric Wilson: An Eau Claire native, Wilson has been involved in the leadership of the Eau Claire County Democratic party and has worked in health care and real estate.
The 4th Congressional District includes most of the city of Milwaukee, as well as some of its suburbs.
Democrat
U.S. Rep. Gwen Moore, D-Milwaukee, is the longest tenured member of Wisconsin's U.S. House delegation.
Gwen Moore: Moore has represented the 4th Congressional District since 2005 and is currently the state’s longest serving representative. Prior to being elected, she served in the state Senate and Assembly and worked for the city of Milwaukee and the state on housing and social services issues.
Republican
Purnima Nath: Nath is a consultant and leader in the Republican Party of Milwaukee County and has been active in the Indian-American community in the Milwaukee area, helping to create the city’s IndiaFest.
Tim Rogers: Rogers previously ran for the 4th Congressional District in 2022. He works delivering gift baskets and newspapers for local businesses.
Independent
Robert Raymond: Raymond has run for the 4th Congressional District in every race since 2012.
The 5th Congressional District includes some of the Milwaukee suburbs, such as Waukesha and West Bend, as well as all of Jefferson County.
Republican
U.S. Rep. Scott Fitzgerald is running for another term in the U.S. House, representing the Milwaukee suburbs.
Scott Fitzgerald: Fitzgerald has represented the 5th Congressional District since 2021 after serving nearly three decades in the state Senate, including eight years as Senate majority leader. He previously served in the U.S. Army Reserves and owned a newspaper.
Democrat
Ben Steinhoff: Steinhoff has served as a first responder for 12 years and lives in Pewaukee.
The 6th Congressional District includes a large swath of central and northeast Wisconsin, including Fond du Lac, Oshkosh, Manitowoc and Sheboygan.
Republican
U.S. Rep. Glenn Grothman is running for another term representing the 6th Congressional District.
Glenn Grothman: Grothman has represented the 6th Congressional District since 2014 after serving for over 30 years in both the state Senate and state Assembly. He also is an attorney.
Democrat
John Zarbano: Zarbano is a retired private practice attorney and University of Wisconsin Oshkosh professor.
The 7th Congressional District includes most of northern Wisconsin, including Rhinelander, Superior and Wausau.
Republican
U.S. Rep. Tom Tiffany, R-Hazelhurst, represents the northern Wisconsin 7th Congressional District.
Tom Tiffany: Tiffany has represented the 7th Congressional District since 2020. He previously served in the state Assembly and state Senate and managed a petroleum company in Minocqua and a river cruise business.
Democrat
Elsa Duranceau, a Democrat and Air Force veteran from north-central Wisconsin, is challenging incumbent Rep. Tom Tiffany for the 7th Congressional District seat.
Elsa Duranceau: Duranceau is an Air Force veteran from Merrill who has worked with local leaders on issues including child care, elder care and broadband expansion.
Kyle Kilbourn is one of two Democrats challenging U.S. Rep. Tom Tiffany, a Republican, for the 7th Congressional District seat representing much of north-central and northwestern Wisconsin.
Kyle Kilbourn: A web designer and researcher living in Harshaw, Kilbourn has also volunteered for local groups, including an effort to make Oneida County more welcoming to tourism and economic development.
The 8th Congressional District covers northeast Wisconsin and part of the Fox Cities, including Appleton and Green Bay. The seat has been vacated by the retirement of U.S. Rep. Mike Gallagher, R-Green Bay.
The vacancy creates an unusual situation, as Gov. Tony Evers was required to call a special election to fill the remainder of Gallagher’s term. That election must occur on the same days as the August primary and November general election, meaning both the special and regular election will appear on the same ballots. The same four candidates are running in both elections.
Republican
Sen. Andre Jacque, R-De Pere, is one of three Republicans running for Congress in the 8th Congressional District.
André Jacque: Jacque, who lives in De Pere, has served in the state Senate since 2019 after spending four terms in the state Assembly.
Former state Sen. Roger Roth is one of three candidates vying to represent the Green Bay and Appleton area 8th Congressional District.
Roger Roth: Roth served in the state Senate and state Assembly and unsuccessfully ran for lieutenant governor in 2022. He is a Wisconsin Air National Guard veteran and has worked in economic development.
Tony Wied: Wied formerly owned Dino Stop, a chain of gas stations in the Green Bay area.
Democrat
Kristin Lyerly is the lone Democratic candidate entering the race for the open seat created after the surprise retirement of Republican U.S. Rep. Mike Gallagher.
Kristin Lyerly: Lyerly is a Green Bay obstetrics and gynecology doctor. She sued the state over the legality of abortion in the wake of the U.S. Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade. She also moved to rural Minnesota to provide obstetrics and gynecological care, primarily specializing in delivering babies.
