In a study with Longvida® Curcumin, in human subjects, it was concluded that Longvida® has equal efficacy as Ibuprofen, an OTC not recommended for long-term daily use. It was found to be faster acting with 35-40% reduction in pain as compared to 10-15% reduction with Ibuprofen, in the first 30 days. Longvida® also showed greater reduction in WOMAC score in the first 30 days, indicating greater joint benefit.
